The ninth FABIAN symposium: Socially Responsible Bioanalysis will take place on 10 November 2009 in Weesp, the Netherlands. Our host will be Solvay Pharmaceuticals
The theme of the 2009 annual FABIAN symposium will be on sustainable approaches applicable in life sciences and especially bioanalysis, or as we like to call it: "Socially Responsible Bioanalysis"
Topics are:
- animal friendly (e.g. smaller sample volumes, less animals per study, non invasive techniques …)
- environmentally friendly (e.g. less organic solvents, no dry ice shipments, ...)
- patient/volunteer friendly (e.g. smaller sample volumes, more tests per sample, non-invasive methods, …)
Costs
The subscription costs for participating in this conference are limited to a small fee for coffee, lunch, travel expenses for speakers etc.:
25 euro.
