LOCAL ORGANISATION & SPONSOR:
The fifth FABIAN symposium took place on November 18, 2005 in Oss, the Netherlands and was hosted by the N.V. Organon. The theme of this special meeting encompassed the current and projected future role of bioanalytical chemistry, or bioanalysis in a general broader sense, to collect as much as possible relevant information on new potential drugs without using large scale costly toxicological and/or clinical studies. The theme of the meeting was expressed as:
